1).To start Microsoft Internet Explorer click on Start, Programs and Internet Explorer.
2).Click on View, Internet Options and then Connection. The following screen will      appear as shown in fig 1.1

3).Ensure there is no tick next to "Connect through a proxy server."

4).Click on the General tab. Enter the details you see in fig 1.2 and click on the Apply     button to accept these settings.

5).Now click on the OK button to finish setting up Internet Explorer.
